Champagne B. Girardin

The estate

Domaine B. Girardin is a family estate. The second and third generations of grower-winemakers work here together.

As an independent winemaker, the house grows, presses and vinifies everything itself. Every champagne comes from its own grapes, at the winery in Mancy.

Two clearly different terroirs, the Coteaux sud d’Épernay and the Vitryat, bring different characters and real scope for blending.

Since the 1970s

The story begins in the early 1970s with Bernard Girardin. Sandrine has led the estate since 1998.

As an independent winemaker, the house makes champagne only from grapes it has grown.

Two terroirs

The southern slopes of Épernay, around Mancy, and the Vitryat, towards Vitry-en-Perthois. One brings a frank, mineral line. The other, richness and a more exotic note. Blending happens between the two.
